BIOTROP Welcomes 5 new partner-institutions

BIOTROP extended its service scope by signing Memoranda of  Understanding (MoU) with five partner-institutions during its 47th anniversary celebration on 23 February 2015 held at its Convention Hall in Bogor.

The MoUs are  as follows:

  • 1. With SEAMEO SEAMOLEC and VEDCA which aims at enhancing the capacities of individual and institutional stakeholders of the Parties involved towards addressing common educational and other developmental concerns confronting the educational sector of Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam effective from 2014 to 2017
  • 2. With PT Inhutani II towards assisting PT Inhutani II in the development of industrial plant forest model using local tree species and empowerment of communities around the forest effective from 2014 to 2018.
  • 3. With Agriculture Vocational School 63 Jakarta (SMK 63 Pertanian Jakarta) in the areas of education, research and community service which will cover internships and scientific work of teachers and students, entrepreneurship development among students, and the conduct of farm and laboratory experiments.
  • 4. With EDP Media towards facilitating product marketing of digital globe satellite imagery.
