On 31 August 2022, former Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Japan, Mr. Abdulaziz Turkistani PhD accompanied by PT Okal Group Indonesia visited SEAMEO BIOTROP. The purpose of this visit was to introduce SEAMEO BIOTROP to the former Ambassador of Saudi Arabia and to initiate a collaboration with SEAMEO BIOTROP, especially on tissue culture technique.
The Director of SEAMEO BIOTROP, Dr Zulhamsyah Imran as well as scientists, managers and staff of SEAMEO BIOTROP warmly greeted Mr. Abdulaziz Turkistani PhD and PT Okal Group Indonesia, followed by the visits to several research facilities in SEAMEO BIOTROP, such as Natural Products Laboratory, Edible Mushroom Cultivation Unit, Greenhouses and Tissue Culture Laboratory.
Abdulaziz Turkistani PhD shared his expectations for arranging joint seminars and workshops on tissue culture technology, which expectations were welcomed by Dr Zulhamsyah Imran. (asa, hcn).
