BIOTROP inks MoU with 3 partner institutions

BIOTROP expanded its partnership network at the start of 2017 by signing memoranda of understanding with two private universities and one service company in Indonesia. These institutions are Universitas Musi Rawas (UMR), Universitas Bina Nusantara (BINUS) and PT Jambi Lestari Internasional.    

The MoU with PT Jambi Lestari Internasional was signed on 5 January 2017. The one-year MoU will involve the conduct soil sample testing for determining the quality of the environment. 

The MoUs with UMR and Universitas BINUS were signed on 13 January 2017 and 18 January 2017, respectively. Both collaborations will involve conducting joint research and capacity building activities, provision of technical advice in research and development, and exchange of information and staff on matters related to tropical biology. The MoU with UMR is effective for three years while the MOU with Universitas BINUS is for one year.
