Dear Readers,

This third quarter of 2025 marks yet another meaningful chapter in SEAMEO BIOTROP’s journey to advance tropical biology and sustainable development across Southeast Asia. Through a series of collaborative initiatives, capacity-building programs, and scientific innovations, we continue to reaffirm our role as a regional hub for environmental stewardship and inclusive education.

Our recent efforts—such as the Scientific Writing Workshop and Media Day, the Regional Seminar on Sustainable Agriculture and Circular Economy, and the expansion of our educational partnerships—reflect our deep commitment to transforming knowledge into action. We were honored by the visit of the Swedish Ambassador and inspired by growing local initiatives, such as our collaboration with Pangandaran Regency. These moments reaffirm the importance of synergy—between nations, sectors, and generations—to address pressing environmental challenges. From cultivating eco-conscious youth to equipping educators with tools for biodiversity and disaster education, our collective impact is growing stronger with each initiative.
