BIOTROP holds 4th Tissue Culture Training - 1001 time(s) visited

SEAMEO BIOTROP conducted its 4th Training on Tissue Culture Technique in 11-13 August 2008. The welcome remarks were given by Dr. Hartrisari, EDC Coordinator of SEAMEO BIOTROP. This training was attended by 28 participants coming from junior high school teachers, college students and lecturers. After the opening session, the activity started with pre-test. The participants should fill out a form which contains questions related to tissue culture.

Dr. Ni Made Armini Wiendi, from Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture IPB acted as resource person, delivered her presentation entitled “Approach to Cultivation Technology As Alternative Role of Community on Agriculture”. Dr. Ni Made Armini Wiendi also explained an overview of agricultural biotechnology and the method of plant tissue culture.
