SEAMEO Secretariat

The SEAMEO Secretariat (SEAMES), located in Bangkok, Thailand, is the conceptual body of SEAMEO. It serves as the executive arm of the Council and the Headquarters of the Organisation as well. The incumbent Director of SEAMEO Secretariat is Dr Edilberto C. de Jesus.

SEAMEO BIOTROP

The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Tropical Biology focuses on Forest, Pest and Aquatic Biology. It helps develop experts in the region in identifying, prioritising, analysing and suggesting solutions or alternative approaches to critical biological problems in the region, especially those related to sustainable ecodevelopment of tropical ecosystems. SEAMEO CHAT

The SEAMEO Regional Centre for History and Tradition is mandated to promote cooperation in the study of history and tradition among member countries, through research, human resource development, education and linkages. Website: http://www.seameochat.org

SEAMEO INNOTECH

SEAMEO RECSAM

The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Science and Mathematics is mandated to provide the needs of Member Countries to provide the expertise in science, mathematics and technology education. Website: http://www.recsam.edu.my

SEAMEO RELC

Focusing on language teaching and learning disciplines, the SEAMEO Regional Language Centre upgrades the skills of language specialists and educators in the region. Website: http://www.relc.org.sg

SEAMEO RETRAC

SEAMEO RETRAC directs its efforts on education management issues by undertaking innovative, relevant programs through research, training, consultancy, staff exchange and fostering of regional and international partnership, and engaging in other related activities within and outside the region. SEAMEO RETRAC supports SEAMEO Member Countries, especially Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam, to identify and tackle problems of management in education at all levels. In addition, SEAMEO RETRAC offers language training, teacher training and other training programs in education. Through the pursuit of excellence and the development of expertise, SEAMEO RETRAC aims to become a leading regional center in the field of education management, serving all SEAMEO Member Countries. SEAMEO TROPMED / Network

The Regional Tropical Medicine and Public Health Network is composed of four regional Centres in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand. The Central Office is located in Thailand.
