Shared this through:The National Commission of Accreditation for Research and Development Institution (KNAPPP) of Indonesia has awarded SEAMEO BIOTROP the KNAPPP certificate as a formal recognition of the Center’s capability to carry out the research and development activities according to required set of standards. The Centre, through Director Dr. Bambang Purwantara, received the certificate during an awarding ceremony on 8 December 2010 at Puspiptek, Serpong.
KNAPPP, through its accreditation system, assists research institutions to implement quality and efficiency in their research and development activities. It also provides guidance to upgrade the performance and quality of program implementation.SEAMEO BIOTROP considers the KNAPPP certification as a boost for the Centre to realize its vision to become a center of excellence in research and development in tropical biology in the region.
